Self Catering Accommodation Glen Affric

Welcome to Foxy’s Den!

Holiday Cottage near Cannich

Foxy’s Den is a single story attached self-catering country cottage sleeping up to three adults. It is named after our lovely pony ‘Foxy’. Foxy’s Den sits at the foot of three great Glens – Affric, Strathfarrar and Cannich and is a short car journey from Loch Ness. Foxy’s Den is an ideal base for exploring the Highlands!

Lots of attractions and activities are close at hand – Loch Ness, The North Coast 500 Route, The Isle of Skye, Culloden Battlefield, excellent Whisky tours, Chanonry Point (The best place in the world to see bottle nose dolphins!) to name a few!

Strathglass was once home to the Clan Chisholm and still is to the Lovat Frasers of ‘Outlander’ fame.

Foxy’s Den self catering cottage sits within a working farm surrounded by stunning scenery. The self catering accommodation benefits from free WiFi, smart TV with Netflix, a private, fully enclosed garden with patio, table and chairs with ample free parking.

There is an open plan lounge with wood burner and sofa bed, separate bedroom and shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including full size cooker, dining table and chairs.

Foxy’s Den is close to the route of the NC500 which passes through the village of Beauly some 15 miles away. Guests from the south often stay here prior to starting their journey on this world famous route. We are just a mile from the Affric Kintail Way. The recently completed new section of this trail gives local access to a much wider off-road forest path network.

We had a lovely stay at Foxy’s Den. The location is perfect with many different options around (i.e. Glen Affric, Loch Mullardoch, Poddla Falls, Dog Falls, etc.). The cottage was clean and cosy. Four freshly laid eggs from Susan were a great plus. We will be back.

Very nice place, quiet and spacious. Well located to discover Glen Affric and its surrounding – don’t miss the Plodda falls!
